Offer guarantor as deposit replacement

Offer Guarantor as Deposit Replacement allows a property to offer renters the option to use a guarantor instead of having a security deposit with Whale.

When enabled, Whale will include the option to use a guarantor instead of paying a deposit in the onboarding flow. If a renter chooses to use a guarantor, Whale will cancel its deposit request and send a notification to the property to work with the renter to confirm the guarantor.

The property is responsible for ensuring the renter secures a guarantor once they select that option.

If the renter changes their mind, you can always re-activate the deposit request by contacting support@gowhale.com.

To enable this feature, please contact support@gowhale.com.
