Application Deposits

If application deposits are enabled at a property, Whale requests the application deposit as soon as the primary resident's application is submitted.

Security Deposits

For manual integrations, Whale requests the security deposit as soon as the move-in is submitted in Whale Admin.

For PMS integrations, your property’s configuration determines when Whale requests the security deposit. Here are the options:

• When application is approved
• When a lease is signed by the renter(s)
• When a lease is signed by the renter(s) and the property

Pet Deposits

If pet deposits are enabled at a property, Whale requests a pet deposit as soon as a pet is added to the lease.
