What payment methods does Whale accept?

Whale only accepts the payment methods listed below. Specific instructions are provided to the renter after they select a method when logged into Whale.

ACH Bank Transfer (via Plaid)

Whale allows renters to link their bank account using Plaid so they can transfer funds directly from their existing bank to Whale.

When possible, before initiating the transfer, Whale will check the renter's account balance to ensure they have sufficient funds to cover their deposit. However, the renter must keep enough funds available in their account until the transfer completes to avoid the transfer being returned and incurring a $25 fee.
