What if a renter has not received their Whale deposit request?
Here's how to help a renter who has not received their deposit request:
- Check Spam/Promotions folder: This is the issue 99% of the time, or they've simply missed the email in their inbox.
- Direct to gowhale.com: If they still can't find their deposit request, have them visit gowhale.com/signup where they can enter their email address to get started.
You can also send a deposit reminder in Whale Admin. If you do not see their deposit in Whale Admin, the renter may not be the primary resident on the lease (Whale only sends the initial deposit request to the primary resident).
