Receiving payment for move-out charges

When configuring a property to use Whale, you'll specify the bank account where you'd like payments for move-out charges sent. Whale encrypts and securely stores your bank information so we can automatically ACH you payments as move-outs are processed.

Applying payments to the renter's account

Yardi integrations:

As soon as the funds settle in your bank account, Whale automatically posts the payment to the renter's ledger in Yardi.

All other integrations:

As soon as the funds settle in your bank account, Whale sends an email notification to the property with the transfer reference ID, total amount sent, and a breakdown of the payments sent by renter (renter name, amount, and lease ID).

The property must then apply each payment to each renter's account.
