Renewal Lease Language

To help push current residents to move their security deposit to Whale, copy and paste the following language into your Lease Renewal Agreement or Renewal Addendum.

Whale Deposit Requirement

As a condition of this renewal, Resident agrees to migrate their Security Deposit to Build Whale, Inc. ("Whale"). Resident shall open a Whale account at gowhale.com/signup within seven (7) days of signing this renewal so that any security deposits currently held by the Lessor may be transferred into the Resident's Whale account, where it shall remain locked for the duration of the Lease as collateral security (the "Whale Deposit").
