It can be helpful to include a short blurb about Whale in your application process. This helps renters know what to expect when it comes time to fund their security deposit.

We've partnered with Whale (gowhale.com/renters) to collect your security deposit. Instead of your deposit sitting quietly in the background, Whale lets you:

• See your deposit anytime in your own FDIC-insured, personal account
• Earn interest on your money while you live here
• Get your deposit back faster when you move out

Please add notify@gowhale.com to your safe-sender list to ensure you receive the email from Whale to get started.

In Your Confirmation Email(s)

After your [application is approved or lease is signed], you'll receive a request from notify@gowhale.com to fund your security deposit. Alternatively, you can get started at gowhale.com/signup.  

Please note that your deposit must be completed within x hours to secure your lease.
